Phoenix is a petite, beautiful Siamese mix. He has striking blue eyes and a unique colored coat. He loves attention and has a cute trill meow when he is happy. He is quite the sweet talker.

When in a foster home, he slept on the bed and was the least shy of his foster family's cats when it came to the new dog in the house.  Phoenix and the new dog came nose to nose and he even walked by and greeted the dog with a trill. The foster family called him Fearless Phoenix, because the other three poor cats hid in the closet when they sensed the dog was near.

Phoenix walked around the house and was not the least bit phased about the new addition.  His foster mom thought over time Phoenix and the new dog would become good friends.  Phoenix also tried to get along with the other cats, and was quite friendly to all. He enjoed being carried around and sniffing light switches, plants, looking out windows, etc.

Phoenix recently had a home with a lovely senior couple.  They loved him for the past two years and said he was a great cat, and greeted all of their guests at the door.  Their vet thought he was kicked by someone in the past based on an x-ray of his spine, so he's on a special diet (that he likes very much) to aid his digestion.  He does fine on the food.

Phoenix recently bit one of his owners twice for reasons unknown, and the couple was devastated when they surrendered him after two years of great behavior and greeting all of their guests so warmly.  We are going to adopt him next to a family/person without small kids or someone who is not on blood thinner to be on the safe side.

Please call (561) 784-4792 for more information or visit him at the  Delray Beach PetSmart (going in on 9/11/21) Sat/Sun 12-3.

Special Needs: On a special dry food for gastrointestinal health
