Update:  Kiwi now lives in the Philidelphia, PA area!  A kind pet owner saw him at our last rescue event.  He reminded her of a former pet cat, and she wanted a meet and greet with Kiwi.  An A.R.F. vol. took Kiwi down to Delray Beach late one night outside of his new owner's hotel, and the next day Kiwi was on a plane!  He did fine, and is happy in his new home.  We predict he'll like his two new senior cat friends, and are optimistic about the senior dog being a pal in time.  We thank all of Kiwi's sponsors and espcially the A.R.F. vol. who knew how special he was and shared that with her friend.  We wish them all the best!

Kiwi is a big beautiful boy who looks like an orange panther.  He's loving and affectionate and a good cat.  He's had some back luck with his two past owners; one gave him up to our county shelter with his five housemates and the other did not get him back after he was taken there with an eye injury after she let him go outside.  Kiwi is now ready for his forever home.  He sits up for his meals and is a quiet cat except for when he's hungry or on a road trip.  Kiwi likes laying by a window in the sun.  Please consider adding him to your home.  He was born with thickened lower eye-lids, but still has good vision.  He was clearly afraid of dogs at our last rescue event, so no dogs in his home would be best.  Please call (561) 784-4792 for more information or visit him directly at the PetSuppliesPlus store in Delray Beach, east of I-95 on the south side of Linton Blvd.
