We are very happy that Harley is now in his new home.  His recent adoption has a cool story too!  Harley's former (and at least second) owner did the right thing and had his micro-chip registered.  She rehomed him, not knowing the new owner took him to a shelter until she was notified b/c of the registered microchip via mail.   She then found out that Harley had been rescued by us (His time was up and he would have been euthanized otherwise as she did not get her mail promptly telling her to retrieve him.) and told a friend who had known Harley for about six months when they went to rescue him the year prior.  The friend decided to adopt Harley, and his family is happy to have him around once again.  Life often goes in cycles, and for Harley, he is back where he belongs.

Harley is a super sweet dog, and a great size at only 25 lbs.  His past (and now we know at least third) owner said they did not have time for him.  He caught a cold after spending time at a shelter and was going to be euthanized, but A.R.F. saved him!  He's loving and good with other dogs and kids.  He is happy and full of joy, which is contagious.  He likes to have his belly rubbed.  His foster family said he's been very well behaved, and whoever adopts him is getting a great dog!
