What luck for Arite that he got his new home just a week before he was going to be taken to a shelter as his owner has to leave her property real soon!  She's been trying hard to find him a home for the past year.  An A.R.F. volunteer met a nice young man who wanted a cat that would be good with his roommate's dog.  Lucky for Artie, he was raised with dogs!  We are so glad that we could help Artie get his new home, and give his kind owner peace about his future.  We wish Artie and his new owner many happy days together!

Artie, formerly Artemis, is a super guy in need of a home ASAP!  His owner has to leave her home on the 13th of this month, so he needs to be out by teh 11th!  Artie was raised with dogs and cats.  He will let you rub his tummy (he has stripes on his tummy), he gives kisses, will let you know that he wants attention and is very affectionate.  Artie loves to play, loves goodies and being petted.  He loves his step-sisters (two fortunately rehomed, and three calicos including Irma still need a home).  They have grown up together.

Pls. do not contact A.R.F. regarding Artie.  He is not in our care.  Pls. pass this info. on to help this sweet cat in need as his owner is really needing your help so she doesn't have to take Artie to a shelter!  She will drive Artie to you (or at least closer as she's in Miami) and will donate cat food with him too!
