Update: Mercedes is going to have many great adventures with her new loving parents.  She'll leave the hot weather in FL and travel up north in the summers visiting family and making new friends in RV parks.  We're so glad she now has the wonderful home she deserves.  We wish them good travels and good times!

Mercedes is an adorable pup as all are.  She's been raised with a lot of love and has been playing with other dogs.  She considers herself a lap dog and even points, so she may have some pointer in her.  She also likes to give hugs.  She's generally a quiet pup, but will bark a little when she wants to play.  We don't know how large Mercedes will be when she's fully grown, but we don't think she'll be over 50 and likely quite a bit less, but her new owner should be ok with a big dog in case we're off on our estimate.  Her new owner should also be ok with a pit mix, b/c even though she may not be one, it's likely she may be dubbed so, and we want to make sure she is permitted in her new home, and welcome in her neighborhood.  Pls. consider adding Mercedes to your home.   Pls. apply on-line and an adoption counselor will get back to you as soon as they can.  You can also call (561) 784-4792 for more information.
