Jeffrey is a very nice loving cat. He'll give you a hug and kiss when you hold him, which is not easy as he's a big boy. Jeffrey was overfed at his former home. One of his owners took him to our county shelter in a cardboard box, and their spouse gave the ok to let him go. We heard he was adopted from a rescue originally, but they did not come back to the shelter to get him!
We want to make sure his next home is his final home! Jeffrey deserves the best. This includes an owner who will help him get back down to an ideal weight. We were told he was in a home with a dog. He's a tad shy, so we wonder if he really liked the dog b/c when scared, he'll hide. He has been exposed to dogs anyway, so a chill one would probably be ok. Also, we were told he likes kids; older kids would be best for him due to his tender heart. Jeffrey is a wonderful cat that you are sure to love!
