Matilda is a good dog.  It's hard to see that from outside her kennel door, but once you get her outside of the kennel, you'll see her shine.  We had her out at one of our events last month, and her personality was rather chill.  She's a bit shy and may crouch and cower at first, and it is sad to see her so scared at the shelter.  She's a quiet dog, and mysteriously has no tail.  She resembles a hound, but may even be part St. Bernard with her markings and jowls.  She's now 100% rescue dog-to- be!  Matilda was overfed in her last home, so she's meant to be smaller than she appears, for health reasons too of course.  Her next home will be at least her third as she was at the shelter about a year ago, but then her owner passed away recently and no family member would take her in. 

Matilda will put her paws up on you for a hug, and appears to be house-broken.  She traveled well to and from the event.  Matilda is spayed, current on her vaccines, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped.  She is not in our care so please do not call or e-mail A.R.F. about Matilda.  She is at our county shelter at 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, and has been there since 1/10/2022.  She is known by her ID#A1981087.  You can call (561) 233-1200 for more information.  Matilda's adoption fee was FREE for January, and at most for February will be $60.
