Frankie is a sweet, quiet and gentle girl with an amazing coat!  Her owner passed away unexpectedly and her family could not find a way to get her and housemate Caramel up to NY.  A.R.F. wanted to help this duo get a wonderful home in honor of their beloved owner.  They lived with two parakeets too!  Their owner permitted them to eat all they wanted, so they got rather large and need an owner that will help them get back to a weight that is better suited for a cat.  Frankie has already lost almost a pound.  Caramel can bully her especially about food, so we feel it would be ok to separate them.  Please call (561) 784-4792 for more information or to arrange to meet this sweet pair.  You can also apply on-line (link to the adoption form is under Frankie's photo) and a volunteer will get back to you.

Update:  Frankie, now Zora, is doing great in her new home with her wonderful owner and four other cats.  She loves the water fountain, which is now on a timer, so she can get to it first thing before the sun comes up and she doesn't need to wake her owner!
