Elmo was brought in from outdoors at just three months of age. He could not be released where he came from, and was too shy to be selected for adoption, so A.R.F. rescued him when his time was up at our county shelter. He started off in a cage so he could acclimate and so his foster mom could see if he would come around and be more friendly and adoptable. When he did not, this loving cat rescuer was happy to make room for Elmo in her "catio" where he can still feel free, and live out his life with other cat pals, yet be safe from predators and be well-fed and sheltered. Elmo now has made great friends with a big orange brother cat. We wish him and his special owner all the best!
