Peanut Butter has been with his owner for the past two years since he was only eight weeks old. It was not long before she realized he was not a good fit with her two other small dogs. Peanut Butter takes food very seriously and gets aggressive towards other dogs when they come near his food. His owner tried to return him to the shelter where she got him from, but they would not take him back. She has not been able to rehome him on her own. She loves him very much and has been doing her best to keep the peace at home. The situation has not improved over time, and she's really upset about it. A.R.F. wants to help her get harmonly back at home, and find a place where Peanut Butter does not have to think about another dog going for his food. We know there is a dog lover out there that can have a great relationship with Peanut Butter.

Peanut Butter does best with larger dogs. He has been raised with a little girl who is now seven. He has been in homes with three large dogs and there were no problems as long as no food was presented to the dogs. We are looking for a dog-savy new owner for Peanut Butter who will no set him up for failure in situations with dogs and food combined. He will be happy being the king of his castle.
