Gracie rode to Boynton Beach in the undercarriage of a pick-up truck all the way from Ft. Lauderdale.  The truck drove her right to the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge (right where her foster mom/ARF volunteer works - how lucky).  When the truck went to launch an airboat, a biologist saw Gracie in the undercarriage and went to grab her.  Gracie jumped into the canal and started to swim out towards giant alligators!  The biologist grabbed her, and brought her to her new foster mom.  She's now enjoying life as a permanent member of her foster mom's family.
