Hurray for Lady and her lovely new owner who decided she wanted not a puppy, but an older dog that would have more trouble getting adopted.  Lady spent over three months in our county shelter and that's a long time.  We know others there will be celebrating with us now too.  Lady is going to accompany her new owner on her fishing outings and will be traveling to SC in a few weeks to meet her "grandparents."  A great owner gets a great, loving dog!  Thanks to the War Memorial for hosting such a great event too!

Lady is a very nice dog.  She's great with kids, cats, and dogs, and travels well too!  She's so sweet and loving, and was very well-behaved at our last rescue event.  She's laid-back and quiet and easy-going.  She was very well behaved at our last event, and has that super gentle nature as well.  She also walks nicely on a leash.  Lady is spayed, current on her vaccines, micro-chipped, and tested negative for heartworm.  Her adoption fee has been waived and she's FREE and comes with a year's supply of Heartguard, a heartworm preventative.  Please consider rescuing Lady from our county shelter.  Her time is limited.  She has already been there for three months and needs to get a new home ASAP!  Her animal ID# is A1643606.  The shelter is located at 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, about a quarter mile west of Jog Road on the south side.  You can call ahead to see whether she's still available:  (561) 233-1200 and reference her ID#.  Please do not call or e-mail A.R.F. regarding Lady.  This is a courtesy posting for her in the hopes that she gets liberated from the shelter real soon!
