We are so ecstatic that after a little over a year of trying, Ellie now has her furever home! Ellie was a tough kitty to crack, and we were not so sure we could save her as she went on a hunger strike upon surrender. Ellie seemed to remember an old friend, a rescuer from year's prior, and her foster mom was able to bring Ellie back to life and get her to trust again. Ellie now has a super home with a wonderful woman, and Ellie has her new pad all to herself, just like she wanted with no other pets!
I'm an adorable kitty as you can see with real soft fur and cute markings. My left eyelid did not develop completely, but it does not take away from my beauty inside and out. I'm really super unique in that I have a blue eye and a yellow eye! I was adopted out as a kitten to a woman for her grandparents who both loved me a lot for several years until one died and then sadly shortly after the other. (Before the adoption, a veterinary eye specialist told A.R.F. there was no reason to do surgery on my eyelid.) My owner's grandaughter took me in for a whole year and her kids really loved me, but the dogs at the home were too hyper and aggressive towards me, and I became afraid and was not happy there, so the grandaughter asked A.R.F. to help find me a new home. My foster mom says I will steal your heart with my sweetness. I am very playful and charming, and like to roll around and show you how cute I am. I'm a quiet girl and no trouble at all, just a great girl! I like to look outside and try to catch moths that come to my window at night when the light is on. I am now very lonely at my foster home as I spend my days alone. I am really eager for my new owner to bring me home.
