Lady
Hi. Just a quick update on Lady. We adopted her on Sep 14, 2013. She is doing great here.
She gets along good with all of our other dogs as well. She loves going on walks and for rides in
the car too.
Thanks again for everything.

Linley
I adopted her on Super Bowl Sunday and am so happy to have her be a part of my life.
She gets along wonderfully with my other cat, Desi, although there is an occasional
scuffle! He lets her get away with a lot but if he's had too much he will growl a
bit until she leaves him alone. It's really cute to see that he's so delicate with
her.
Lexie
Lynn-
I just wanted to let you know that Lexie (we renamed her Ginger) has become a wonderful addition to our home. She gets along very well with our other dog, Georgette, and they play in the yard every day. She loves to go for runs on the bike (I ride, she runs along side), walks on the leash and car rides.
Ginger is a smart little girl. Initially she was a little too interested in the cat, but she has learned the command "no kitty" and backs off when she hears it. We taught her not to jump on people in 3 days and not to beg for food in two weeks. The food was a tough one, because she is strongly food motivated. I suspect the behavior was permitted in her previous home. However, patience and consistency and probably her desire to fit into the pack won. She was house trained, so we didn't have to do any work there. She sleeps at the foot of my son's bed every night. They are best friends.
In the beginning, Ginger and Georgette had two little disagreements. This was about who was going to be dominant and I think, just getting to know each other. It took us a while to learn Ginger's personality as well. It is a good thing that ARF recommends giving a new pet at least a month trial. It did indeed take that long for us all to work out the kinks. Sticking with it has its rewards!!! If I may make a suggestion, please STRESS this to potential adopters.
Ginger is a great dog. She has a fabulous personality! Everyone who has met her has fallen in love with her. I don't understand why someone gave her up, but their loss was our gain.
I am so very glad that there are people like you in the world who rescue dogs and other animals. I think about what could have happened to Ginger and shudder. Thank you for being there for her. Because of you we have this super cool, super fun, super loveable little mutt.
Sincerely,
Brandy Schram and family
