Nicki
Nicki

Received 12/15/10 I've attached three photos of Nicki the Kitty. I adopted her on December 13 of 2006. The first photo is what happened when I got her home. I had bags full of cat food, litter box, etc., and a cat in a box. I let the cat out and she took a look around, spun in a circle, and ran. I laughed. I expected it might take a while for her to get used to her new digs, and I let her alone for a couple of hours. When I went to see what had become of her, she was sitting in the bathtub, looking puzzled. She looked like she was comfortable there. Eventually, I picked her up and showed her where the food and the litter box were. In the second picture, she has discovered cardboard boxes. I took the third picture earlier this year. As you can see, Nicki the Kitty is doing rather well. She still speaks with all kinds of cat words. Some of the staff may remember that aspect of her. When I first picked her up, she looked at me and made all manner of cat noises. I was impressed and I said out loud, "You talk." Every once in a while, she still comes out with a new one.
