Pudge
Pudge

Dear, Lynn, It has been the greatest ten months since Pudgie entered my life. I wake up to kisses and a wagging tail every morning. It seems like yesterday when I covered her up in my bed and she slept through the night in my arms. Pudgie loves the car and the doggie park near our home. She sleeps in every morning unless I am working. She looks great. Her coarse wiry coat is now a soft shiny coat. I adopted the best dog! Regards, Arline and Pudgie

Kimmy

Dear Lisa & Kim, I wanted to tell you both how happy I was to meet you in front of the Petsmart. My husband & I had a Pekepoo named Misty who lived to be close to 18 years old. The loss of our pet was just so sad for my husband & I. We loved our little Misty and treated her like she was our baby because she was!! Loss of any kind is very hard to take but after that amount of time (18 years) it was brutal. We missed the love and companionship of our dog. We waited 4 months to start to see if we could try to visit with animal shelters and rescue groups without coming to pieces. The groups truly do care and they have so many animals that need good homes. We visited with at least 6 dogs who really would not have been a good match for us. Sadly we went home with no new dog. I looked on line and saw that ARF was going to be a Petsmart and my hubby & I decided to go. I viewed the dogs on line which was so helpful to see if any would be interesting to us. We came across a puppy (Rat Terrier) named Kimmy. She was alert, adorable, bright and kissy. We loved everything about her, I just love my new baby and her new name is COOPER . I call her Super Duper Cooper. She will have a wonderful life with us because we have so much love to give her. She is 4 months old and Misty died 4 months ago so she Misty pushed us to her to continue the love. Thanks so much for taking care of her and I will enclose a picture...

Renny
Renny

Renny is so much fun. We love watching his boxer/beagle dog characteristics at work everyday. He has been a part of our family for almost 8 months now.His floppy ears and long lashing tail make his unique; and of course he is a beauty. He LOVES to cuddle and of course he has the run of the house and can cuddle wherever he wants. We go for walks, to the beach, car rides and he loves the spa. He loves to eat most of all. He is a good dog and we are so lucky. He is very well loved. Thank you ARF for bringing us all together. Jim, Kathy and Stephen Menti

Joey/ Duke
Joey/ Duke

Hi there, Duke (joey) is doing so well!!! He is really loving our home, which makes us very happy. The first day and a half was hard for Lola, she wanted Duke to know that she was the BOSS!!!! Duke is so good, he goes straight to the door if he needs to go out, he has had 1 "accident" in the house. He plays so well with the kids and is very affectionate. We are working on walking Duke, or shall I say him trying to walk us!!!. I am attaching the 1st picture we took with him the day he arrived, I have to take some new ones since he has already gained some weight... If at any time you would like to come and see Duke , please let me know. thank you so much for this wonderful family opportunity:) Karen
