Marvin

My new Mom saw me on the internet and then just happened to see me in person in PetSupermarket.  She knew we were meant to be family!

I am so very happy because I now I am going to be safe.  I was found on the second story of an abandoned building in the pouring rain.  I was all alone and scared and screaming!  A good samaritan brought me in to the local PetSupermarket and A.R.F. agreed to rescue me.  My foster mom fed me and loved me until I was ready for a home of my very own.  I am a very lucky boy.  I am going to have such a wonderful life with my new family.

Mauricio

Dear A.R.F. of South Florida, I want to thank your organization for Mauricio and all your many volunteers have done to rescue him from a life of either living on the street, in a shelter, or having been euthanized. I can not imagine my life without him. He brings such joy to me and I laugh and smile at him each and every day. Each one of my pets bring to me his or her own special joy and Maurico is no exception. This photo was taken while Luciano, his older brother, (also a rescue) looks on in approval, as Mauricio plays with a ribbon on the cat tree. Thank you again A.R.F. of S. Florida volunteers and fosters for all you do to make these moments possible! Sincerely, Robert Spanicciati

Motek
Motek

Dear Lynn: I promised to email a few pictures of Motek (Hebrew for sweetheart). My husband and I are thrilled to have her. She is the easiest dog we ever owned. She listened to all commends. She comes when I call her, she sits, she fetches her toys, she is housebroken, she sleeps in our bedroom on her pillow and doesn’t disturb us the whole night. Our cat Camille has been putting Motek in her place. Motek wants to play with her and chases her around, but Camille won’t have any of it. After 4 days together they are already walking next to each other. We have an empty lot next to our house and she loves going out there. She runs around in huge circles and always comes back to me, making sure I watch her. We have a large backyard and Motek learned how to use the doggy door right away. The backyard is fenced in so that she can come and go as she wishes. My housekeeper loves Motek too. My husband and I both work but Motek is hardly ever alone. I left her already for 3 hours alone and she behaves perfectly. She doesn’t damage anything in the house. She is the perfect size too, and she is so gentle with us. My son, Boaz Man, DVM checked her out and she is in perfect health. Another benefit, she guards the house to perfection. She barks her head off at any handyman and growls at him. She doesn’t stop till I tell her this person is OK! Were you able to find anything out about the prior owner from the Broward Human society? Whoever trained her did a fantastic job. We are so lucky to have been in WPB at the right time. It was meant to be. We weren’t even supposed to go to the home show. We simply joined our friends at the last minute. Again, Thank you very much, Dena and Daniel Man
