Motek
Dear Lynn:
I promised to email a few pictures of Motek (Hebrew for sweetheart).
My husband and I are thrilled to have her. She is the easiest dog we ever owned. She listened to all commends.
She comes when I call her, she sits, she fetches her toys, she is housebroken, she sleeps in our bedroom on her pillow and doesn’t disturb us the whole night.
Our cat Camille has been putting Motek in her place. Motek wants to play with her and chases her around, but Camille won’t have any of it. After 4 days together they are already walking next to each other.
We have an empty lot next to our house and she loves going out there. She runs around in huge circles and always comes back to me, making sure I watch her.
We have a large backyard and Motek learned how to use the doggy door right away. The backyard is fenced in so that she can come and go as she wishes. My housekeeper loves Motek too. My husband and I both work but Motek is hardly ever alone. I left her already for 3 hours alone and she behaves perfectly. She doesn’t damage anything in the house.
She is the perfect size too, and she is so gentle with us. My son, Boaz Man, DVM checked her out and she is in perfect health.
Another benefit, she guards the house to perfection. She barks her head off at any handyman and growls at him. She doesn’t stop till I tell her this person is OK!
Were you able to find anything out about the prior owner from the Broward Human society? Whoever trained her did a fantastic job.
We are so lucky to have been in WPB at the right time. It was meant to be. We weren’t even supposed to go to the home show. We simply joined our friends at the last minute.
Again, Thank you very much, Dena and Daniel Man
