Nutmeg is super cute, and the center of a great rescue story!  She was selected for TNVR (trap/neuter/vaccinate/release) even though she was born and raised in a home.  She was released outside at her owner's home after her spay, and had never been outside.  Her owner was apalled to find her there on his property.  He did not realize she would be a released cat when he surrendered her to a shelter, and thought she would get a wonderful new home.  He thought Nutmeg's mom (now adopted - Amelia) was a "he" when he took her in from a friend, and could not keep her and her three kittens (Beatrice, Ash, and Nutmeg) as he already had two cats.  He contacted A.R.F. after finding Nutmeg out in his yard, and the rest is history.
