Chloe/ Leah
Leah was a stray and Miami running the streets as a small puppy. She was
picked up and placed in a kill shelter. Animal Rescue Force rescued her
and found a nice foster home for her until she could be adopted. When I
saw her picture on Petfinder.com I just knew that she was MY dog! I had
looked at thousands of dogs on here for months, but my heart melted when I
saw her little sweet face.
I have had Leah for over a year now and I can honestly say she is my best
friend. She is healthy, vibrant and full of life. Everyone always comments
on how much they love her because "she is always so happy!"
If you are looking for someone to love, you are in the right place! The
love is unconditional!
7/27/14 - I adopted Leah from Animal Rescue Force a little more than 5 years ago! I'd say she is living the life! She loves to cuddle, watch tv, chase her kitty sister, and go for walks!! She is such a love!!
Chloe
Hi Lynn,
I wanted to touch base with you and thank you again for bringing Chloe into our family. She has been a WONDERFUL addition to our family. She is sweet and patient with all of us. Lately, she has been showing her playful side with some of the toys she got for christmas.
Our surprise for Margaret worked out perfectly. Chloe spent Christmas Eve night with my husband and I and in the early morning we put her in her cage by the christmas tree with a note from Santa. It was probably the first time she meowed, like hey let me out of here! Her cries woke Margaret up and she was beyond excited when she came running into our room. She said Santa had left her a real live kitten.
Here are a few pictures of her with Margaret. She is very loving with her, but after Margaret falls asleep she makes her good night round to all of us.
Thanks again and we would be willing to come volunteer, so please send us emails.
The Harmon Family
Ps If you could share these pictures with Linda. She is such a sweet kitten which I know comes from the home she was first raised in.
Ciara
Thank you Steffani for bringing Ciera into our lives. She is a joy to watch when she
runs from one window to another. She now has adopted us.
Charlie
Meet Vegas.....
My ARF name was "Charlie" but after coming home to my new forever home
my humans couldn't get me to come to any of the names they picked out for
me. I'm a very interesting dog who long ago got lost from my first human
family but still remember that going in the house is a bad thing (I've never
done this once yet...not even the smallest mistake) and walking on the leash
is fun. I'm fearless and reckless at times not to mention super lucky to
have been rescued so these new humans started calling me Vegas and something
about the ring of it appeals to me and I started answering to it right
away. So Vegas I am.
I have been with my new humans now for a week and have been spotted at City
Place, Clematis, and Flagler Drive for my morning walks. I'm super social
with other dogs but haven't learned the right way to greet them...I like to
stand straight with my tail in the air and bark at them..but once I get to
sniff the other dog I stop and go back to looking around...I might get bored
with it after I get used to all the people I get to be around and the dogs I
meet along the way.
My new humans tell me all the time how handsome I am and how quickly I learn
what not to do and what is allowed...for example, I love the couch and it
perfectly ok for me to snuggle up and watch TV with them, however, I must
sleep in my own bed at night and jumping onto the bed is not allowed. It
took me a few times of trying before I learned I cannot get up but since my
own bed is so comfy I'm okay with it.
They tell me about Winnie the Rottweiler before me and I know how much my
human mom misses this girl but I overheard her telling human dad how much
she has missed a flying fur ball greeting her when she enters the room so I
know I'm do the right things. I have a tennis ball I found lost under the
seat left there by Winnie from a beach walk many months ago and now I claim
it as my own and love it as much as Winnie did, this makes mom very happy
and once I get completely used to the busy streets and high rise living we
plan to take on the beach.
This coming Saturday I will be taking a trip to meet my new vet Dr. Jaffe
and I have been told I will be getting a hair cut.
Things are looking up...sometimes I just sit on the couch and look out onto
the balcony and think...about what my humans wonder... but then when they
call my name, I jump for joy, wiggle, wag, and come running to greet them.
This is my happy ending....

Chloe/Clover
Hi Kristen:
This is Christine (& Mary) Brown - we adopted Chloe (the small brindle puppy) at the
Delray Beach PetSmart this past Sunday. I just wanted you to know how happy we are
with Chloe, now Clover. She has turned out to be a perfect fit and, by the way, she
has been eating, exercising and not coughing. Mary has been very diligent about her
medicine plus she and Clover are inseparable. Clover adores Mary, is a quick
learner and just a joy to have in our home.
I just had to let you know that we couldn't be happier with our decision and I can
safely attest that Clover feels the same way. Thank you for your time and
dedication, another life saved and flourishing.
Best wishes,
Christine, Mary and Clover Brown
